Saturday 6th July, in Varese, at the Library
The Notte Bianca del Lettore is a day of events organized by the Municipality of Varese. This year it is dedicated to the extraordinary adventures of Marco Polo. Join us for a day dedicated to reading with creative workshops, shows, talks and concerts. From 10 onwards. At 23:30 the meeting with the rappers Lanz Khan and Claver Gold, interviewed by Adelia Brigo.
From 4th to 7th July in Ancona, UlisseFest, the travel festival
From 4 to 7 July, Ancona will host the seventh edition of UlisseFest, the travel festival conceived and organized by the publishing house EDT, Lonely Planet partner for Italy. Also at the event is our director Marco Giovannelli who will participate in three events. Friday afternoon at 6:30 pm he will moderate a meeting on the theme: Travelling without barriers. Accessibility narrated by those who are committed to guaranteeing everyone the right to tourism. Two prestigious speakers: Giovanni Ferrero of Turismabile and Aldo Grassini, President of the Omero Museum. On Saturday at the same time he will be a speaker at the meeting: Discovering, meeting, walking.
The walks as a life experience. A meeting to learn about projects and routes around Italy and beyond. With Monica Nanetti, journalist, author and walker, Stefano Lorenzi, director of Appennino slow and promoter of the Via degli Dei, Marco Giovannelli, journalist and walker, director of Festival Glocal. July 12, 8.45 pm in Oggiona with Santo Stefano, at the Carabelli Refuge
An evening organized by the Alpini Group commemorates the “coup” of August 1944 with which the partisans of the area seized the weapons built in a local factory, taking them to the Ossola mountains. Appointment on July 12 at 8:45 pm, moderated by Roberto Morandi, journalist of VareseNews.
