The Crese Cup 2024 has officially crowned its champions. In fact, on the evening of Sunday 30 June, the finals of the multi-sport tournament that started on 1 June were played at the Crese Village in Domio. First of all, the Crese Cup Zanutta and Crese League Edil Impianti football competitions took to the field, narrated for the occasion by Riccardo Trevisani, a well-known Italian commentator and guest of honour of the evening. A voice that accompanied the victory of Maliqaj Building Restorations Trieste (in the final against Bro&Sis/Brada Impex) in the Cup and that of Barnobi Workshops in the League, with the latter pirates facing Laurenti Stigliani.
On the basketball side, however, the parquet was dominated above all by R-Stars Bosioin the Crese Basket Free category and Strips in that Airball. For two tournaments that have been able to satisfy the desire for basketball and that have allowed us to watch games of such a quality that we forget we are at a summer event. In fact, among the ranks of R-Stars Bosio, there have been old acquaintances of the local scene such as Palombita and Zanini, authors of a success that seemed truly announced from day zero.
But it didn’t end there because during the evening there was also the opportunity to enjoy a bit of volleyball, with the finals for 3rd/4th place in the “pensioners” category as well as the “sports” category and the finals. The first place winners were respectively Sportmed e Ancient Trattoria Le Barrettinewhile the lowest step of the podium was occupied by I Fluidodinamici and Officine Meccaniche Vidali.
