“It’s premature at the moment. Before asking for a state of emergency, we need to understand if there are extremes.”

“Precisely to understand what the best solution could be, we addressed the issue last week in the council and we have called a round table in the Region with the fishing categories for next Friday. Before choosing a path, we need to have precise data.”
Are you worried that your request might not be accepted?
“The state of calamity has very precise parameters: before requesting it, a detailed reconnaissance must be done to understand whether it could be recognized or not. A bit like what happened with the blue crab.”
Another critical issue that the troubled fishing sector had to face.
“This is the issue: it rains on the wet. The fishing sector has already had to deal with important problems. This is why we want to give them quick and correct answers. And the regional table that we have convened with the Councilor for Productive Activities and Fishing Andrea Maria Antonini has this purpose”.
In addition to fishing, another sector that is experiencing the repercussions of the presence of mucilage is tourism: have you planned any interventions?
“The problem of mucilage is stratified on three levels: environmental, productive activities and tourism. We are analyzing the phenomenon from a technical point of view. One of the causes of their appearance in these quantities is the calm sea. To give correct answers to the sectors in difficulty, we are making 360-degree assessments and the regional table will allow us to coordinate the solutions”.
