The unstable front that is affecting a good part of the country, according to weather forecasts, will tend to intensify in the next few days causing thunderstorms and falling temperatures also in Naples and Campania.

It is confirmed that turning point on the climate front which, according to estimates by The weatherwill tend to become increasingly concrete in the next few hours over much of Italy. After the heat of Charon, therefore, the deep cyclonic circulation will extend from North to South between rain and even intense thunderstorms.
Starting from today, Tuesday 2nd July, the storm front will move first towards the Centre and in the evening also in the South. At the same time, a second disturbed system will surround the Alpine arc and much of the North. Meanwhile, the Civil Protection of the Campania Region has already issued a weather alert.
Wednesday 3 July will be characterised by a rapid worsening with the arrival of a further unstable vortex which, starting from the North, will reach the whole country by Thursday 4th July. Precisely in the central and southern regions the precipitations could be particularly intense, accompanied by sudden gusts of wind and possible hailstorms.
A climatic situation that will also influence the temperatures of the period: we will practically face the so-called “refreshed” with a further decrease in temperatures almost everywhere. In some areas affected by bad weather, the values will also drop below the seasonal averages.
And slight improvement is expected only towards the weekend. Starting from Friday 5th July, the prevailing trend will be theAzores anticyclone which will extend over the entire territory ensuring a mild and sunny climate, but not humid and suffocating like that of the African anticyclone. Some last remnants of thunderstorms could only affect the Alpine areas but in general the first weekend of July will prove to be pleasantly warm.
