The value of the 2024 summer sales in the province of Brescia will be over 70 million euros, a result substantially in line with that of last year. This at least according to the estimates of Confcommercio Brescia, a few days before the start of the sales on July 6. “Good news” for the Brescia president of the association Carlo Massoletti, especially after the difficult months just passed.
In the entire province there will be approximately 9 thousand points of sale that will be involved in the sales, of which almost half are within municipalities that are part of the Commercial Districts. According to the Confcommercio leadership, it is a good practice because it encourages collaborations and makes historic centers more attractive.
The estimates made so far are however prudent and the final results could be even better: “The inflation that has significantly slowed down its rate, the contractual increases foreseen by the renewal of the CCNL and the tourist bookings, which continue to arrive despite the weather conditions, make us optimistic – concluded Massoletti – Also with the expectation that consumers will confirm the latest trends and continue to return to local shops at the expense of online, for the more engaging purchasing experience and to seek advice from professionals in the sector”.
