An analysis that I feel forced to make after the numerous requests for intervention that citizens have addressed to me in my capacity as former councilor for public greenery and vice secretary of Azione Trani.

He tried again last year, but there is not even a shadow of the “dynamic” beach, only putrid and smelly seaweed; a wall that continues to crumble and fall to pieces; the aquarium covered in building dust cries out for vengeance as does the “mini aquarium” sign in the middle of the uncultivated greenery; an abandoned building site with barriers and waste material scattered everywhere.
By the way, what happened to the ministerial and regional funding of 1.5 million euros for the implementation of coastal revitalization interventions? A revitalization made of degradation, of uncultivated and weedy flowerbeds, of rusty benches, overloaded palm trees, dry bushes and the clock at the entrance stopped and in bad shape. With the few and reckless turtles on the way out, the goldfish have also disappeared.
In my opinion, dear mayor and councilor for greenery, today you have no choice but to “cry”, rather than “smile” in seeing the hard blow inflicted on the municipal villa, once an authentic garden on the sea with well-kept flowerbeds full of flowers and plants of every kind that filled the air with an inebriating scent. And without shame you even had the courage to celebrate its two hundred years with an initiative that unfortunately everyone shows.
The same shame that you didn’t have to “sing your heart out” and with low style for the dock issue. Maybe you decided to privatize the municipal villa like the rest of the City”.
