Cristian Molinarotechnical director of Venezia, was interviewed by Radio Series A in Rimini on the occasion of the official opening of the 2024/2025 transfer market: “Last season? It was a great ride, we are happy and from today we can say that we are officially in Serie A. There is a lot of work to do but there is a lot of motivation. The team will gather this weekend, the core is there and we need to shore up. We will see after the start of the retreat where we need to intervene, but the ideas are quite clear. We will try to bring joy to our fans in Serie A too. There is a desire for revenge after the last relegation obviously, the club has given a precise imprint in the last two years, we are convinced that with Di Francesco we will be able to get great satisfaction, we know his qualities and we will be of support to help the team reach the objective”.
Su Tessmann: “We are still at the beginning of the market, we are working. Tessman, Busio and also Candela are certainly players who have had an important journey. Tanner has grown the most since he arrived, he was a rookie, it wasn’t easy for him, at the beginning he found little space but then his qualities emerged and he is an important player who has aroused some interest, but there is time to evaluate the situation”.
Sun Pohjanpalo: “Joel has lived in the city since the very beginning, he took up residence in Venice, he is a striker with particular characteristics and a great person, consequently the fans have become very attached to him, also obviously for his great performances. For us he is a fundamental and important leader, he will give his contribution also next season as he has done in the last two years”.
On the market in synergy with Inter: “We are working, there have also been some meetings, it is obvious that there are teams that may have interesting players for us, in general during the market we will be vigilant and we will have contacts with the clubs that perhaps have players who do not find space”.
About Vanoli: “I wish him the best of luck, it’s been an amazing, intense year and a half. He’s a great professional, very well prepared, he brought out that little something extra in the boys to get out of the quicksand of relegation in the first year and in the second to reach a goal that was first dreamed of and then achieved. He’s a real person and when a person is real the relationships remain excellent, we also spoke with him and the staff”.
On the National Team: “It is not easy to analyze situations from the outside, the backlash of the match with Spain has brought about some aftermath.
