Transfer Market: Centre Forward Khadimou Rassoul Ndiaye to Faenza

Khadimou Rassoul Ndiaye is the new central striker of Faenza Calcio.
Twenty-two years old, Ndiaye is a technically complete striker, fast, physically strong, able to play in depth, good at creating spaces and facilitating the insertions of his teammates. 1 meter and 96 cm tall, he is the classic central striker, who likes to vary on the attacking front, acting as a point of reference for the team. He looks without hesitation for the conclusion on goal both with the right, his natural foot, but also with the left and with the head, a fundamental that he uses to provide assists to his teammates and during defensive retreats. For all these playing characteristics he was called “Il Pampa”, in memory of Roberto Carlos Sosa, the Argentine center forward known by this nickname, protagonist in the past in the rebirth of Napoli: in 4 seasons, from C to Serie A.

Ndiaye is happy with the new sporting challenge that awaits him. “It is an honor to wear the jersey of a prestigious club like Faenza. Other teams had approached me, but after a conversation with coach Nicola Cavina I had no doubts because I understood that I could make an important contribution. His ideas convinced me. I think it is possible to have a significant championship. I feel charged and I can’t wait to get started”.
Trust reciprocated by the Manfreda club as confirmed by coach Nicola Cavina “Ndiaye is a quality footballer, young, but with important seasons in the category behind him. He can offer more solutions in an offensive key. I believe he is the profile that was missing from this team to which he can give physicality and technique. The club welcomes with great pleasure an athlete who can give a lot”.

Born in Forlì on May 6, 2002 to a father originally from Senegal and a mother from Nigeria, Khadimou Rassoul Ndiaye has dual citizenship, Italian and Senegalese. He started playing football in the “Pulcini” team of Forlimpopoli before moving to Cesena and from there to Forlì in the Allievi and Under 19 teams until making his debut in the First Team in Serie D. Then in Eccellenza he wore the jerseys of Cotignola and Del Duca Grama, before moving down to Promozione in the last year to Spiv where he scored 15 goals. A brilliant season that earned him the call from Faenza.
He will be paired in the Faenza squad with “Bro” his Senegalese compatriot Serigne Mbacke Gueye who will help him fit into a team where he already knows Gimelli, Gjordumi and Samorè.
