“These questions are not unjustified but are asked in the interest of a due verification that the municipal body should do to avoid suffering a loss of earnings as well as a significant economic damage, already suffered due to the absence of the service for a period of 7 months – continues the opposition councilor – I then ask myself another question regarding the cost of the seasonal pass: on the coastal road the cost of a pass concerns a period of time between May 18th and September 8th but if the service was started on June 15th it should have a reduced cost, in fact to the total cost of 50 euros a reduction should probably have been applied that would result in a cost of 30 euros since the user did not use the service for a full 28 days and certainly not by his own will. The same applies to passes in the parking areas of Conca dei Monaci and Arena del Mare which have a cost of 25 euros and which, instead, given the delay in starting the service should be 18 euros”
“Add to all this the lack of vertical signage in some areas as well as the impossibility of paying for parking with a card and the impossibility of paying for parking at some columns because they are out of service. For this and other reasons I believe that this administration should stop and think and comply like a good father to the best protection of the citizen. In reality, the protection of citizens should be guaranteed by an ad hoc body already present in the town hall that should have the task of supervising correct operations. I also suggest setting up an ad hoc desk where anomalies, interventions and clarifications can be reported” concluded the group’s councilor in the right way.
