Moncalieri is preparing to host the Rolling Truck Street Food gastronomic event from 5 to 7 July 2024, an event that promises to transform the city center into a lively street food. However, the event will involve some significant changes to traffic to ensure the safety and smooth running of the event.
From 2.30pm on 5 July to midnight on 7 July, or until the end of the event if earlier, the following measures will be introduced:
- Traffic and parking prohibited, with forced removal, in Piazza Caduti per la Libertà, area of the weekly Friday market, between Via Arduino and Via San Martino, and in front of the “Carrefour Express” commercial establishment.
- Parking prohibited, with forced removal, in Via Matteotti right side, between Piazza Caduti per la Libertà and the ecological island, limited to the parking spaces present.
From 06:00 to 24:00 on July 7, or until the end of the event if earlier:
- No access to Via C. Colombo, between Via Matteotti and Via Cavour interni 17-19, except for residents and users of driveways, for whom two-way traffic and a speed limit of 20 km/h will be established.
- Establishment in Piazza Caduti of a 2.5-meter lane, delimited by barriers, for access to Vie Matteotti, Real Collegio, Carlo Alberto and Botta, reserved for residents, users of driveways and emergency and rescue vehicles.
- The crossing of the carriageway of Via Matteotti with electric cables placed on the ground must be protected by special driveway conduits, with a “DANGER – HUMP” sign.
