FABRIANO – It was some motorists who reported the accident on Saturday night, alerting the police and reporting a car that had left the road. The police reached the peripheral road and found the car driven by a twenty-year-old boy, in good condition despite the accident. He was subjected to an alcohol test and immediately reported for drunk driving, with a blood pressure of 1.40, almost three times the legal limit, and was also fined 5,100 euros for not having a driving license.
Inside the vehicle, the Carabinieri then found just under a gram of hashish near the gear shift, but once invited to go to the emergency room to undergo first level tests to verify the presence of drugs in his blood, the twenty-year-old refused and was reported for the second time. The vehicle was placed under administrative detention for 3 months and confiscation cannot be ruled out following the judge’s decision at the end of the criminal proceedings. Given the presence of drugs, the Carabinieri decided to proceed with a search of the home. As soon as they entered the house, the young man spontaneously handed over 62 grams of hashish to the Carabinieri and will therefore also have to answer for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
