ROMA – Susanna Pedrola, Elena Sali (both by Bissolati), Mary Sun Perugino (Baldesio) e Anna Scolaro (Flora), have been called up to the national rowing team which will participate in the FISU World University Championships from Thursday in Rotterdam.

The Technical Management has defined and made official the 15 crews that will participate in the regattas scheduled in Rotterdam, on the Willem-Alexander Baan basin, from next Thursday to Saturday. As regards the competing teams, keeping faith with gender equality, Italy will take to the water with 7 male and 7 female crews, with the 4th mixed scull which, as usual in world university regattas, is made up of two males and two females. Among the specialties of the program, those with the most registered crews are the two singles, women’s and men’s, with 20 and 19 registered respectively, followed by the women’s single PL with 13. The competition program foresees the start of the competitions on Thursday 4 July at 9.30 am with the regatta for the mixed four-pair lanes, followed by the preliminary heats which will continue until 1.10pm. Friday morning will be dedicated to repechage, while the semi-finals will start at 12.39pm and continue until 2.30pm.
Saturday 6 July, the last day, will start at 12.10 with the consolation finals, while in the afternoon, starting at 15.30, the finals will be held to award the 2024 university world titles. Below is the composition of the Azzurri crews.
