Carabinieri operation, the applause and thanks of Mayor Angarano

“On behalf of the entire Administration and the entire Bisceglie Community, I express my applause and thanks to the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri, Colonel Massimiliano Galasso, to the Commander of the Bisceglie Tenancy, Lieutenant Alessandro Rundo, and to all the Carabinieri involved in the brilliant operation conducted last night, which allowed the execution of 13 orders for the application of precautionary measures for the joint dealing of narcotics and the importation, transportation and sale of contraband foreign manufactured tobacco. Our gratitude also goes to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Trani for the coordination of the investigations that lasted two years and were characterized by the meticulous, attentive and punctual work of the men of the Bisceglie Carabinieri Tenancy”. This was stated by the Mayor of Bisceglie, Angelantonio Angarano.

In this regard, the constant strengthening of video surveillance, in synergy with the Prefecture of Barletta Andria Trani, and the works to be carried out for the redevelopment of the ground floor of the barracks in order to obtain an increase in the staff of the Carabinieri of Bisceglie, are all operations aimed at to support the already qualified and professional work of the men in the field every day” concluded Mayor Angarano.
