“The new company born from the merger of two Gargano entities just a few kilometres apart is called ASD Atletico Gargano. Atletico Peschici and Atletico Vieste have thought it best to join forces and create a new club to represent the promontory. The new partnership sees Francesco Mongelluzzi as president, he who has already been number one at Atletico Peschici.
The goal of the new project is precisely to continue to play sports and football at a higher level by drawing on the economic and technical resources of the territory. The transformation, which will start a new and ambitious path, also aims at the development of the local football movement with particular interest in the youth sectors that will remain distinct.
For now, Atletico Gargano will take part in the next First Category championship, probably playing the home matches at the “Michele Maggiano” stadium in Peschici.”
