Ravenna is the seventh most polluted city in Italyaccording to Ener2Crowd.com. Pollution in cities is mainly caused by road traffic and aggravated by heat stress, a direct consequence of climate change.

Based on international parameters, Ener2Crowd.com, the sustainable investment and savings platform, has updated the Air Quality Index to date, developing the ranking of the 10 most polluted cities in our country.

The most polluted cities

On the podium we find: 1) Milano, with an index of 56; 2) Bergamowith an index of 55; 3) Bresciawith an index of 56. In these three Lombard cities the main pollutants are fine dust and in particular PM2.5, which reaches values ​​of 12µg/m3, 11.4 µg/m3 and 8 µg/m3 respectively.

Following in this ranking are: 4) Padua (index 51); 5) Venice (index 50); 6) Bolzano (index 48); 7) Ravenna (index 46); 8) Florence (index 45); 9) Pavia (index 42); 10) Rome (index 39).
