An ongoing negotiation between two Serie A clubs makes Avellino happy. Alberto Dossena, defender who wore the green and white shirt for two seasons, collecting 3 goals in 56 appearances, could soon change shirt. The footballer, owned by Cagliari, is among the profiles sought by newly promoted Como. According to the latest rumours, the 1998 class, followed by several clubs, has ended up in the sights of the Como club which aims to close the deal quickly.

After having conquered the top flight with the Sardinians, Dossena has been a fixed point in the last year and among the architects of the salvation feat with 2 goals and 4 assists in 35 appearances. The negotiation is now in its final stages, with Como expected to pay 8 million euros into Cagliari’s coffers, plus another 2 million linked to various bonuses. Signatures are missing because the final details would have to be ironed out, but a summit with the twenty-five-year-old is planned when he returns from holidays.

The operation also makes Avellino smile, who two summers ago decided to accept the rossoblù’s offer: 160 thousand euros plus 10% on future resale. Therefore around 800 thousand euros (on the fixed basis of the transfer that should materialise) would go to the wolves for a good treasure that could possibly be invested.
