In collaboration with Michelin Spa, Traffic Police and GsPassatore, the traditional cycling activity for small children returns. It will take place in Piazza Galimberti (a few meters from the Food Court) and will involve over 50/60 small children (ages from 3/4 years up to 8/9). Family members present.

Gravellata of the commissionerExpo Village
Starting from Piazza Galimberti, the 1st edition of the ride in the River Park called Gravellata del Sicurezza will take place. “Gravellata” derives from the English term “gravel” which denotes pedaling on dirt paths. “Commissario” is the nickname of the former professional cyclist Marco Saligari who will be the protagonist of the event. The 28 km route develops almost entirely in the River Park passing through Borgo San Dalmazzo. The event is free and open to all types of bicycles suitable for dirt roads.

Absolute National Artistic Gymnastics ChampionshipsStage – Expo Village
On 5, 6 and 7 July, the Palazzetto dello Sport in Cuneo will be the scene of the Italian Absolute, pre-Olympic men’s and women’s artistic championships, the highly anticipated event which will see the blue stars and the best Italian athletes compete for the title absolute national team. The Championships will be presented by the technical director of the national women’s artistic gymnastics of Italy Enrico Casella, by the Coni Delegate of the province of Cuneo Claudia Martin, by the President of Cuneogymnastics Claudio Adinolfi in the presence of a high-profile athlete from the national team (name yet to be defined ). Family members and enthusiasts will assist the young athletes from the Cuneo area.

Parade of the OlympicsVia Roma – Expo Village
The second edition of the Olympic parade will take place starting from the beginning of Via Roma. This year the parade will be led by the Fanfare of the Taurinense Alpine Brigade. Following the Olympic torch, a group of around 15/20 Olympic athletes from the province of Cuneo (present with the alpine skiing world champion Marta Bassino) and disabled children from the Cuneo associations who will carry the flags and signs with the names of the 32 participating countries at the Granfondo La Fausto Coppi. The parade will arrive in Piazza Galimberti where the Fanfare will play some songs and the Italian anthem as a greeting.

In the presence of the authorities and the public of Cuneo there will be the lighting of the Olympic brazier and the official start of La Fausto Coppi.

Start / finish cycling race (estimated over 2,000 cyclists).

Fausto Coppi Eat&PedalaGalimberti Square
Departure / arrival of the cycling event in collaboration with Coldiretti and Fiab Cuneo. This is a ride with around 80/100 cyclists who will cover a route of around 50 km to discover the area around Cuneo. Visits are planned to two Coldiretti farms where you can taste local products.

Pasta PartyFood Court
At the arrival of the race, a meal will be provided for the athletes (estimated estimate of 1,500 meals). Several hundred people including family members and enthusiasts were present.
