We start this morning in the Representative Room. Here’s how to register

FASANO – On the occasion of the establishment of the 1st level abuse and mistreatment team in the Territorial Area of ​​Fasano, Ostuni, Cisternino (Regional Plans of Social Policies II and III three-year period DGR n. 1875/2009 – DGR n. 1534/2013) we want to start a training course in order to develop skills to prevent, detect, intervene and reduce situations of violence against women and minors. The training is aimed at the network of services in the social, healthcare, educational area, the Territorial Area and the Socio-Health District, combined with the Judicial Authority and the Police Forces and the Specialized Third Sector with the aim of sharing the same training contents to improve the quality of the services offered and their integration.

The training course aims to provide the various professional figures involved with the appropriate tools that allow them to understand the complex phenomenon of violence against minors and women.
All operators, with the advice of experts, will discuss the operational practices activated at each stage of the problem: in detecting the first signs and symptoms, in ascertaining the episodes and damage caused, in reporting and reporting to the judicial authority, in protection of victims, in care work, especially psycho-social and relational.

The training course will involve all the services that now permanently deal with situations of mistreatment, i.e. the Municipal Social Services and the Territorial Services of the ASL (Family Counseling, NIAT, CSM, SERD) Law Enforcement (Police and Carabinieri), the Services provided by the Third Sector such as the CAV, Casa Rifugio, Educational Communities and the Family Centre.

Furthermore, some training actions will also involve other services that can be the first point of detection of violence such as the emergency room, general practitioners, paediatricians and primary and secondary schools.
