Full of life, with many goals to achieve and the desire to never give up, until the end, on something incurable disease. The characteristic traits of a girl from Trentino who wanted to tear the world to pieces, but she won’t be able to do it because of a cursed tumor that took her away at just 24 years old, discovered after noticing a strange mole on his skin. Elisa Renzi passed away last Saturday, June 8th, after a battle that lasted almost four years. Precisely since when by the end of 2020, he had begun battling the disease. The funeral will be celebrated today, Tuesday 11 June, at the Trento cemetery: Elisa, a student of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology of the University of Ferrara and, previously, of the «Leonardo Da Vinci» scientific high school of Trento, will be buried there.
The long care and pain of family members
To try to fight his illness, Elisa had traveled long distances with her family tothe Veneto Oncology Institute of Padua, the place where he was being treated. In the past, during treatment, you had mentioned a book by the writer on Instagram Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the beach, with the following words: «You will have to cross it, that violent sandstorm… then, when it’s over, you won’t even know how you managed to get through it…» With her death, she left behind a devastating void in friends and family: mother Silvana, employee of the purchasing cooperative «Gestor», father Francesco, brother Stefano and her very young boyfriend, Alessio Mola.
