Emilia Romagna and Titano towards aerospace

San Marino and Emilia Romagna travel together towards the Space economy. With many common objectives, all contained in the framework agreement on aerospace signed in Bologna, in Viale Aldo Moro, headquarters of the Region, by the Secretary of State for Industry, Fabio Righi and by the regional councilor for Economic Development Vincenzo Colla. We were talking about common objectives. Many. Strengthen collaboration and facilitate the development of the aerospace sector, with particular reference to the space economy and the business and research system of Emilia-Romagna and the Republic of San Marino. But also to facilitate networking between companies with the aim of promoting, among other things, economies of scale and synergies useful for promoting a strong and developed ecosystem.

This with forms of coordination between the multi-year economic development programs of both territories. This is the ‘plan’ on paper, in theory, but then in the planned practice there is already practice. In fact, to define the individual activities and coordination “the establishment of a specific permanent working table is envisaged – as the Secretariat of State for Industry explains – which will be convened at least every six months”.

The agreement signed in recent days in Bologna also provides for “the launch of spaces for discussion to propose useful ideas for the development of regulations that can facilitate the activities of the sector – underline Secretary Righi and his colleagues – also opening up to the participation of Emilian economic operators – from Romagna and San Marino. So as to encourage mutual involvement in research and innovation projects, especially in terms of internationalization and ‘standardisation’ of products in the aerospace supply chain”.

Furthermore, the aim is to carry out actions to disseminate technical-scientific knowledge for the aerospace sector among economic and research operators in the supply chain. “The agreement falls within the general regulatory framework – they explain from Industry – which refers to the ‘Convention of Friendship and Good Neighborhood’ between Italy and San Marino of 31 March 1939 and which the Secretariat of State to Industria intends to transform, thanks to the work and commitment of these years, into a strategic collaboration agreement”.
