Pescara, paid parking starts today along the coast

Paid parking on the Pescara coast starts today and will continue until 8 September

The approximately 1,400 car parks, managed by Pescara Multiservice, a subsidiary of the Municipality, will keep the rates and opening hours of the last summer season unchanged: from 8am to 7pm parking your car on the seafront will cost 1 euro per hour, 5 euros for the whole day on Viale della Riviera and Colombo seafront (sea side and mountain side), 4 euros per day at the former Enaip (where paid parking is available from 8am to 8pm and until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays from 14 June to 31 August, including August 15th) and 3 euros per day for the Meridiana area and the areas of via Barbella. Parking can be paid at the parking meters in cash, but also with a debit card, via the pos of the same machines. It will also be possible to purchase tickets from the Pescara Multiservice website or at the sales point in Piazza della Repubblica or purchase season tickets with the possibility of saving on the occupancy of the stalls.
Among the areas available for parking this year there will not be the park road, occupied by the construction site for the construction of the trolleybus.
“The income deriving from the blue lines on the northern and southern coasts of Pescara during the summer season generates around 400 thousand euros”, explained Benedetto Gasbarro, sole director of Pescara Multiservice, which this year too has reintroduced the 50% reduction to Tg8. of expenses for hybrid cars and total exemption from the license fee for electric cars.
