First Category, Mr. Prato remains at Murazzo: “A privilege”

Murazzo has confirmed coach Simone Prato for the white and blue bench. A very positive season for the Murazzo team, culminating in qualification for the First Category playoffs.

Objective achieved, therefore, at the start of the championship, even if going out with a draw left a bit of a bad taste in the mouth. In fact, the first round of the playoffs saw Sant’Albano smiling at the end of 120 minutes.

One week before the playoff match, Simone Prato was confirmed as coach of Murazzo: “I stay here because coaching Murazzo is a privilege. Every time it’s easy for me to say yes, there’s a good group with managers and players with a Murazzo heart. It’s difficult to think about leaving, we Murazzo residents have something more. What? You get emotional, you throw your heart over obstacles, sometimes even too much (smiles, ed.), and you put a lot of passion into it. I want to thank the club, the sporting director, all my staff with the masseurs, the goalkeeper trainers and everyone who orbits around the team.

A special thanks to Fabrizio Garis, my second, a first encore because without him I would struggle. We are a duo, I get along very well with him and he is very prepared; he has licenses and degrees, competence and loyalty that cannot be taken for granted.

I also thank all the players, from 1 to 20: more or less, they brought us to the playoff dream and allowed me to compete for one as a coach, something that had never happened to me. Thanks to everyone, we will try to improve even if it won’t be easy.”
