Certa Stampa – TRANSPORT: CUCCHIARELLA AND MANNETTI, “OVER 37 MILLION TO ABRUZZO FOR 6 NEW ELECTRIC OR HYDROGEN TRAINS, GREAT WORK BY LEGA AND SALVINI FOR SUSTAINABLE IMPROVEMENT”

“The arrival in Abruzzo of six new electric or hydrogen-powered trains for a total value of 37.19 million euros, within the 700 million arranged by the distribution decree scheme of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport for the renewal of the regional railway park, confirm the desire to modernize the country, with choices that respect the environment without ideological forcing and with common sense”.

Thus Laura Cucchiarella, municipal councilor of L’Aquila, candidate of the League in the Southern constituency at the European elections scheduled for June, and the regional councilor Carla Mannetti, responsible for the coordination of Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works of the Carroccio, former manager of the Region’s Transport sector Abruzzo.

The announcement was made by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini, national leader of the League.

“It is with great satisfaction that we welcome this important news, the result of the excellent work carried out by the deputy prime minister and national secretary of the party Salvini – comments Cucchiarella – For the southern regions a total investment of 262.5 million is planned for 32 trains, a “always high attention to the strengthening of the rolling stock of the regional public railway service which will facilitate the path of sustainable development of our territories”.

For Mannetti: “Thanks to the considerable investments wanted by the League, the strengthening of rail transport continues with new electric or hydrogen-powered trains, modern and environmentally friendly vehicles. A concrete action, which dismantles the unrealizable ideological campaigns of the left, in the direction of a truly sustainable renewal process”.
