Reclamation consortium protagonist of the weekend in the square

“We open the doors to citizens: events, technical seminars, cultural moments will accompany ‘Reclamation 24 hours a day’ on 24 and 25 May”. So she began Roberto Branco, president of the Adige Po Reclamation ConsortiumTuesday 21 May during the press conference to present the upcoming events which will see the Consortium protagonist of the Rovigo weekend.

Inside the National Cleanup Weekon 24 and 25 May, “we wanted to involve the city with recreational-cultural initiatives to bring citizens closer to our work and explain to them who we are and what we do every day all day” Branco continued reiterating: “This is why we chose this title, ‘H24’: ours is a fundamental role that is always active and constantly working, not only for the irrigation purposes of interest to the agricultural world, but also for the benefit of the entire community”.

This was then followed by the presentation of the events that will enliven these days open to all. We will begin Friday 24th with the conference “The risk that changes” at Palazzo Campofollowed by an aperitif and inauguration, at Palazzo Bonome Ravenna, of the exhibition “Apprò che posti”. An entirely cultural evening which, with a guided tour from 6.30pm to 9pm, will see the Fa storytellers illustrate the historic headquarters of the Consortium. Conclusion in music with the concert by Sabrina Scarpati – Triò.

On Saturday 25th, Piazza Garibaldi will also be at the center of the event: the street artist Luca Vallese – Zentequerente will design the Consortium logo with the symbols of the territory, the guided tours and the exhibition will continue, the final game for the younger ones; always in the square, in fact, there will be a quiz on the themes of reclamation, with food and drink vouchers up for grabs to the winners. The two days will end with the concert, from 6.30pm to 8pm at the Rock Music Academy.

“We have tried to move the center of gravity of the initiatives, this year, right to the city center, to intercept that part of people who, despite having heard of the Consortium, do not perfectly know its role of collective interest” commented the general director of the Adige Po Consortium, Marco Volpininviting people to participate in these “24 hours” of culture, exchange, information and entertainment for the entire community.
