In the Phlegraean Fields a new seismic swarm is underway starting from 3.56 am tonight, May 20th. L’Vesuvian Observatory has registered preliminarily so far 11 earthquakes with maximum magnitude of 2.2 degrees with epicenter near the Solfatara Volcano to one depth of two thousand meters.

The last tremor was recorded at 8.50 am with epicenter near via Antiniana to one depth of two thousand meters. The tremor, which lasted for several seconds, was distinctly felt by citizens living between the upper and lower parts of the street city ​​of Pozzuoli, up to the neighborhoods of Happy Bow, Agnano, Customs duty, Bagnoli.

The seismic event was also accompanied by a roar, perceived both by the inhabitants of the area close to the epicenter and by those residing along the coastal strip.
