Susan Ruth McGrath, 84, of Odenton MD, passed away peacefully in the home she shared with her daughter, Allison McGrath and her son in law, Dennis Luber. While Susan resided in Maryland, her heart and home were always in Syracuse, NY. She often visited Syracuse and spent time with her daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Todd Donovan with their children, Bailey Ramsden, Connor, and Riley Donovan. Susan was gifted with 4 great grandchildren and Bailey’s husband, Greg Ramsden sharing birthdays, holidays, and time on the porch enjoying the summer air in Marietta, NY.
She spent her career doing things she loved including telecom, travel, and chocolate. She loved art, history, adventures, her grand doggies, flowers, and a good chocolate sundae. Many fond memories were made with her Camp Too Small family her. We hold those memories close to our hearts. Susan lived her life with grace and positivity, bringing a smile to those she met and befriended. Susan was preceded in death by her brother Richard Reese and her daughter Suzanne McGrath. Suzy now embraces her di lei with the love her family di lei shared with her every moment of every precious day she lived.
Susan’s favorite place to be is surrounded by those she loved. Please join the family in celebrating Susan’s life on May 19, 2024, from 2-5pm at the Marietta House, Marietta NY.
