Descriptive text here

There is a hand from Cesena in the safety of the Garisenda Tower in Bologna. Once the installation of the containment containers has been completed, the same procedure used to support the Tower of Pisa and, therefore, the same Soilmec pylons (of the Trevi group) which are still in the Pisa area will be used. These will be transported to Bologna where they will be placed on stands so as to position them at a height of approximately 18 metres.

After the alarm for an anomalous twisting of the structure, for some months the Garisenda tower has been at risk of collapse. The Asinelli tower, the tallest tower and the one where tourists can climb, was immediately closed to avoid any accidents. The position of the pylons – which are modular and therefore adaptable – should be such as to counteract the movements of the tower in the east-west and north-south directions. The hypothesized location of the pylons is one against Palazzo Strazzaroli and the other in the direction of Via Zamboni: the distance between the tower and the pylons would be in the order of a few tens of metres.
