VIP volunteers from Asti also take part in the CAI Easter Monday walk to raise awareness about epilepsy –

A positive balance and a sunny day for the Easter Monday walk organized by the CAI section of Asti in collaboration with the Municipality and the Proloco of Celle Enomondo.

“PMore than 120 people traveled the roads between Celle and Vaglierano, on a warm and sunny spring day in front of the snow-capped peaks, admiring the splendid breathtaking views of the Asti hills”, the organizers explain with satisfaction.

Some people from theItalian Epilepsy Association chand they accepted the invitation to join in this walk for solidarity. For the CAI of Asti some councilors of the new board were present ( Silvio Lungo Vaschetto, Martina Quirico, Giulia Ramicone, Mario Gavuzzi and Mariano Virga), for the IEA the regional and national representatives Irene and Valeria Bellaand the mayor of Celle Enomondo Andrea Boverowho expressed words of solidarity and encouragement for this initiative.

Even the volunteer smile clowns

The walk ended with a lunch at the Proloco di Celle which will donate the profits to charity. The walk was enlivened by the presence of some volunteers – Angela Sardi and Serena Barni – of the VIP Asti association, which carries out clown therapy activities which have contributed to making the presence of Aie members more participatory.

The initiative is a pilot project for the CAI’s mountain therapy activity to make hiking accessible to everyone.

Thanks to the presence and support of some representatives of the National and Regional CAI, Ornella Giordana, Marco Battain and Marco Tinivella, theThe CAI of Asti is committed to carrying forward this ambitious project, hoping to repeat other initiatives like today’s with the associations already involved and the others who will express interest in participating”.
