TERAMO. The Municipality begins the design procedures for two structures intended to offer support to those in difficult conditions. This is an accommodation to be used for the so-called temporary housing and the post office, the anti-poverty service center which is aimed in particular at the homeless. In both cases these are initiatives financed through the Pnrr. With the first project the administration aims to set up “temporary housing solutions for individuals and families in extreme difficulty”. For this purpose, an apartment was identified, in via Marsilii di Colleatterrato Alto, which is located within the “Solmar C” condominium. The property requires both structural and plant redevelopment interventions. The procedure initiated by the offices, therefore, is aimed at jointly assigning the executive design and carrying out the works necessary for the use of the apartment. Just under 344 thousand euros are foreseen for the intervention, of which approximately 19 thousand are intended for the definition of the project.
The administration, on the basis of the bureaucratic simplifications associated with the Pnrr, will adopt a negotiated formula for the contract with the consultation of five operators who have the required requirements. The submission of offers by interested companies and professionals must take place online via the Maggioli platform. The award in question will take place on the basis of the criterion of the most economically advantageous offer for the organisation. The same procedure is foreseen for the post station. The structure chosen by the Municipality for the activation of the assistance center for homeless people and migrants, with health center, canteen, post office, job orientation and other services, is the former primary school of Villa Pavone. The identification of the property has sparked controversy from residents and opposition councilors who consider the building unsuitable, also due to its location, to host the dormitory for migrants. The project, which involves 620 thousand euros of work, however, continues.
