(REGFLASH) Pescara, 20 Nov. – The parent who cares for the minor suffering from rare diseases or with a disability will be able to have an economic contribution capable of enhancing the care work. This is what is foreseen in the new Caregiver public notice, promoted by the regional councilor for social policies Pietro Quaresimale, for the granting of economic contributions for the year 2023 with a total financial allocation of 750 thousand euros. The Notice is open until December 14, the date by which applications can be submitted to obtain a maximum contribution of 10 thousand euros per family unit according to the indications established by the Regional Council.
“It is an important notice for families who assist minors suffering from rare diseases or in conditions of disability – observes the regional councilor – above all because the Region makes a concrete contribution to those parents who, unemployed or unemployed, dedicate themselves continuously to the disabled minor. Our objective is to encourage as much as possible the stay in their own home of minors affected by a rare disease for which home care is necessary. Very often these parents are forced to abandon a job to provide continuous assistance to the loved ones. The contribution we make available aims to alleviate these conditions without any claim to resolve them”. Interested parties must submit a request for participation exclusively online on the digital platform of the Abruzzo Region at sportello.regione.abruzzo.it. The platform can only be accessed with SPID. (REGFLASH) US 231123
