ANCONA Marche Region and RFI will invest 34 million and 425 thousand euros for six coastal defense interventions in Pesaro (250 thousand euros), Porto Recanati (9 million), Potenza Picena and Civitanova Marche (over 11 million), Pedaso (7.6 million), San Benedetto del Tronto (6.255 million).

The communication of the Region
This was communicated by the Region which «allocates 25 million of the 2021/2027 ERDF funds. RFI is co-financing the three interventions with 9 million and 425 thousand euros, which also include the safety of vulnerable coastal railway sections. The contributions awarded will cover the entire cost of the financed intervention.” On the proposal of the Councilor for Coastal Defense Stefano Aguzzi, the Regional Council approved the agreement schemes with the Municipalities involved which will benefit from the contributions and which will play the role of implementing entities, in charge of the design, contracting of the works and their testing. The agreements will be signed shortly.
