In recent days, staff of the UPGSP of the Sassari Police Headquarters – we read in the note – “reported a man for the crimes of damage following a car fire, resisting and threatening a public official and illegal possession of weapons or objects capable of offending Specifically, in the early hours of the morning, the Operations Room received a report regarding the fire of a car in this Piazza Santa Maria, in Sassari. The note from the Police Headquarters continues: “The man, promptly stopped and identified, appeared to have numerous criminal records against him, including specific ones, and appeared with his hands and trousers dirty with soot. Furthermore, when asked by the operators he immediately showed himself to be reticent and nervous, trying to escape police control and uttering threats to the police. After having brought the man back to calm, the latter confessed to having been the perpetrator of the gesture. Given the above, the subject was subjected to a search personnel with a positive outcome as they were found in possession of a switchblade and subsequently accompanied to these offices for the drafting of documents. For the facts in question, the man was reported”, concludes the note.
