There are only a few days left until the end of the year and, although many have been organizing for a few weeks to celebrate the transition and welcome 2026 as best as possible, there are also those he chooses to improvise, attending dinners and parties at the last minuteor going to the various squares of Verona and the province where events of all kinds are scheduled.
Under the Arena
The city is full of possibilities, for those who want to wait for midnight that opens the next 365 days. First of all, it’s New Year’s Eve in Piazza Brà, «Big & Bang» a party chosen by many people every year organized by the Municipality of Verona in collaboration with the Arena di Verona Foundation and Arena di Verona srl.
In the Scaligera square, among the most beautiful and loved by the Veronese not only, the concert will be held by the winner of the latest edition of «X Factor», Rob and the finalists EroCaddeo and PierC. Amelie and Angelica Bove will also be present alongside them. Rtl 102.5 and Radio Zeta will accompany the wait for midnight with a live radio broadcast starting from 11pm. The toast that bids farewell to the old and welcomes the new will then leave room for fun with the “National Disco” and DJ Sautufau who will keep everyone dancing until 3am.
In the neighborhoods
Even the Veronese neighborhoods will be celebrating on this special night. The initiative is designed for those over 65 who want to celebrate in company, close to home and in safety. Associations and bodies in the city have organized nine events to try to please the over 750 Veronese to whom the format is dedicated. A small contribution of 20 euros will allow participants to choose between dinner or buffet, and then immerse themselves in the music, dances and board games organized in Corte Molon by the Aps Equestre Horse Valley; in the Auser headquarters in Quinzano by the association itself, at the Olimpia restaurant, in the Stadium area, by the Insieme nel tempo libero association; in the civic hall of Borgo Nuovo, in via Trapani da Tamzarà where participants are asked to make a contribution of 10 euros and to bring something to share together with what the members have prepared.
At the Saval district auditorium, in via Marin Faliero, the Tropical Butterfly at Saval offers a dancing evening with ballroom music; We La Sorgente Aps invites everyone to the community center in via Velin for a dinner, entertainment and dancing; the Don Mercante elementary school in via Dolomiti 59 will host the «La Mongolfiera di San Michele» event made up of live music and dance, catering. The parish of San Giuseppe and Santa Maria Assunta, in Montorio, opens its doors for games, dinner and toasts.
At the Primo Maggio club in via Lanificio, finally, the Panta Rei social cooperative will prepare a dinner which will be enlivened by music and animated by entertainment.
Not to forget the dinner organized by the Porta Palio pro loco, as well as the big parties in the places loved by young people such as Berfi’s club, Dorian Gray, Mad’ in Italy and Colorificio Kroen.
In the province
The last night of the year will be celebrated and said goodbye also in different parts of the province. On Lake Garda, from Malcesine to Peschiera, the squares and historic centers will offer great celebrations and emotions. The same will happen in large centers such as Bussolengo and Villafranca.
In San Bonifacio, however, the event not to be missed is the one scheduled for January 1st, with the traditional New Year’s concert at the Central theater which, for 2026, will host Davide De Ascaniis and the Fucina Harmonica ensemble in Vivaldi’s «The Four Seasons».
