Who knows how many hours of makeup it took to look ugly Martina Colombari sul set di Buen Camino, Checco Zalone’s blockbuster film? Ugly then… the former Miss Italy, fresh from an intense participation in «Dancing with the Stars» is in fact in the cast of the film which is hitting the box office this holiday season, destroying record after record (the previous ones were always signed by Zalone).
Buen Camino, the film in theaters and the role of the showgirl
His character is Linda, the protagonist’s ex-wife which seems drawn on the figure of well-known entrepreneur/influencer Gianluca Vacchi, Crystal’s mother. With the usual cynical irony Zalone (with director Gennaro Nunziante) thought of a role for Martina that partly follows her true story: a beautiful woman who from model becomes theater actress busy with variant than that of Colombari it was a professional evolution, while Linda’s is a turning point brought about by the new marriage with a Palestinian intellectual who made her forget the frivolities of the jet-set and who prefers her with gray hair rather than dyed.
Martina Colombari’s return to the cinema for Checco Zalone
Martina published on his Instagram profile the photos of her transformation into the left-wing pasionaria of the film, and with amusement she recounted that she didn’t mind growing old for the part and invited everyone to go to the cinema to see the film.
“Good Way” it also marks the return of Colombari on the big screen, after years spent in theater and on TV. His last appearance was ten years ago in «Barbara and I» by Raffaele Esposito in which he is the protagonist of a passionate and overwhelming love story with an unusual ending. It’s not the first time Martina transforms to make the most of her character without exploiting its natural beauty: also at the theater in «Steel Magnolias» she played a woman with modest clothing and not well cared for, the opposite of how we are used to seeing her in everyday life and in her public appearances.

Colombari said that the experience on set with Zalone It was a lot of fun and it gave her the opportunity to shed the label of “beautiful” that often prevented her from playing roles that would have interested her.
The filming took place in Sardinia (in Porto Cervo and Santa Teresa di Gallura), in Rome where Piazza di Campitelli, Piazza delle Cinque Lune near Piazza Navona and also the Lungotevere are very recognizable (Martina took part in the scenes filmed in the capital), and then pass through Spain on the real Camino de Santiago crossing Navarre, Castile to arrive in Galicia.
