A widespread musical New Year’s Eve, free and lasting an entire night: Rimini greets the new year with dances, music, shows, cinema, art and culture, from the historic center to the sea. Here is the guide, party by party, so you don’t miss anything on December 31st.
The city turns on the rhythm with the Rimini DJ Academy
Rimini’s New Year’s Eve kicks off already in the late afternoon. At 6.30 pm, in Piazza Malatesta and Piazza Cavour, the young performers of the Rimini DJ Academy officially open the long night with their sets, warming up the atmosphere. The party will be opened by 15 male and female students between the ages of 10 and 15 from the kids and teens DJ courses of the academy who will alternate in B2B. Their teachers Tamara Dvt in Piazza Cavour and Alda Luna in Piazza Malatesta will close the set from 9.30pm to 10.30pm. Guest on sax Ale Pagliarani. Presented by Vittorio Collina.
Smooth Street Parade in Marina Centro
At 9.30pm we move to the seafront, in Piazzale Kennedy, where the Liscio Street Parade – New Year Edition kicks off. The Belvedere is transformed into a large open-air dance hall among orchestras symbolizing the Romagna tradition – Santa Balera, Alluvionati del Liscio, Roberta Cappelletti – dance schools and disco-ballroom DJ sets. At midnight, fireworks over the sea to welcome the new year.
The Latin night at the Teatro degli Atti
Also from 10pm, the Teatro degli Atti lights up with “Raíces Latinas”: live music by the Septeto Guarachando, dances and entertainment with Grancaribe Rimini and DJ sets by Rafael Nunez. An engaging journey into the origins of Latin American music and dance, free entry.

Portraits and creativity at Palazzo del Fulgor
From 10pm, in the rooms of Palazzo del Fulgor, space for art and the author’s gaze with “End of the Year Portraits”: a special photographic session by Enrico De Luigi, which transforms the public into the protagonists of a unique photographic set, in the name of Risomania.
Art toast at the City Museum
At 10.30pm the City Museum hosts “Toasts of art in music”: the Concert of the Orpheus Trio, curated by Rimini Classica, with the tenor Gianluca Pasolini, Aldo Maria Zangheri on viola and Monica Micheli on harp. Followed by the traditional midnight toast. Free entry upon reservation.
The great dance in the heart of the city
The beating heart of New Year’s Eve is dance music. Between Piazza Cavour and Piazza Malatesta, from 10.30pm to 3.00am, an exceptional DJ rotation with Paolo Nhe, Gianni Morri, Max Padovani, Maurizio Nari, Stefano Gambarelli, Gippo and Jadi Cartier, accompanied by violinist Mark Lanzetta, accompany the public until the first light of dawn, wandering from one square to another.

In Piazza Cavour with Rds and Discoradio
Just before the start of the new year, Piazza Cavour becomes the great hall of the party. At 11.20pm the video of the remix of “Ritorna a Rimini” will be previewed: Paolo Nhe Dj’s homage to the legend of Secondo and Raoul Casadei. From 11.30pm to 1am, the energy of Roberta Lanfranchi (RDS 100% Great Successes) and the Discoradio Party with Matteo Epis, Valentina Guidi and Edo Munari will lead Rimini into the new year. After 1pm, the party continues with DJ rotation until 3.00am.
Jazz and pop to enter the new year
At 11pm the atmospheres multiply: at the Galli Theater – Sala Ressi, Rimini Jazz Club All Swing Stars recreates the charm of the Cotton Club in a swing night until 2am; at the Surgeon’s Domus, Musica tra i mosaici – Pop History offers the great pop hits in an acoustic version;
After midnight: lights, fire and electronics
Once midnight has struck, Rimini continues to surprise: at Castel Sismondo, the “Fire at the Castle” show combines fires and lights in two evocative performances (00.30 and 02.00); at the Modern Wing of the City Museum, Rimini Électrique transforms the space into an immersive environment between DJ sets and light installations.
The New Year of Culture
Throughout the night, from 9pm to 3am, the historic center opens to travelers in the new year with the New Year’s Eve of Culture: free entry to museums and symbolic places such as the Galli Theatre, City Museum, Domus del Chirurgo, Palazzo del Fulgor, Palaces of Art, Gambalunga Library and Cineteca. At the Cineteca Gambalunga, the documentary The naked crab pays homage to Marco Pesaresi, with screenings at 9.30pm and 12.30am.
