Brad Pitt returns to Italy. Monday afternoon the American actor landed at Bolzano airport with a private jet. The images of his arrival were released by the German-language news portal Stol.it.
A film about Ötzi,
Pitt, who will turn 60 on December 18th, is in Alto Adige for a short stay in Merano, it is not yet known whether to stay in a well-known local medical spa or to carry out inspections for a film about Ötzi, a film project that has always been in the thoughts of the protagonist of “Babylon”. The one for the Similaun mummy seems to be a real obsession for the actor who even got the silhouette of Ötzi tattooed on his left forearm (who among other things was one of the first tattooed men in history: on his body they were 61 tattoos found). Brad appeared smiling and friendly upon leaving the Bolzano airport.
The other hypothesis
Dressed in gray with a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses aviator stylePitt is preceded by baggage handlers who, in addition to the designer suitcase, carry a guitar, an instrument that the actor usually plays in the morning as soon as he wakes up, a habit he picked up during the pandemic. The other hypothesis is that he is in Merano to take care of himself, attentive as he is to his physical appearance not only for work reasons, following simple rituals but with iron discipline that have allowed him to maintain the appearance of a thirty-year-old despite being twice as old as he looks. A bit like what happens to the character in one of his most successful films “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” (based on the 1922 short story of the same name by Francis Scott Fitzgerald) in which Pitt plays a man who grows younger as time passes.
