The influencer really didn’t expect to pay the bill. Especially after everyone recognized her among the tables of Errico Porzio’s pizzeria, on the seafront in Naples. So when the receipt arrived, all the published stories were deleted, in a sort of spite. The case that sparked heated controversy on social media is still told in more detail today by the well-known Neapolitan pizza chef, who doesn’t regret having made the influencer pay like anyone else. The long-distance clash has been going on for over 24 hours now, when the affair was reported by Porzio that she was not present when the girl had dinner in her restaurant, discovering what had happened only after seeing her review. Although she had been “happy and satisfied with the service and the pizza – writes the pizza chef – she made some stories on Instagram, but then after presenting her with her bill she deleted them”.
She herself explains in the review the reason that pushed her to remove all the published content. «Hi guys, thanks again for the personalized pizza, for the photos and for the needle and cotton above all. I found myself forced to delete videos and photos from my stories because, as you can imagine, it’s certainly work for me. I don’t sponsor companies for free, at most I deal with the exchange of goods/services. Therefore – continues the influencer who explains his upright modus operandi – I give a positive review to the company or product to be sponsored in exchange for the service or product itself offered free of charge (all in capital letters, ed.). I appreciate your cordial welcome, but in short, you will understand that work is work!”.
TO Fanpage the influencer Barbara Gambatesa comes out and explains that according to her there had been an agreement, after some employees of the pizzeria had recognized her and asked her for a selfie. And she says she also felt ridiculed: «The version of events is a little different. There were no agreements written in black and white. But there was a mutual agreement. It may not have come from Errico, but all their sentences testified to a collaboration that had been structured. I advertised for free from my phone and their phones. But, in the end, if I see that there is no longer reciprocity, I find myself forced to remove everything.” The case seems far from being clarified, given that in a video published on her social networks, Porzio explains that in reality there was no agreement with the influencer nor had anyone ever called her in the club.
