CONEGLIANO – Between Milan, Los Angeles and Ibiza, they are tired of the confusion, the traffic, the smog. And for this reason they have decided that the next Easter holidays will be spent in a quiet place, on a hill, surrounded by greenery. Clare Ferragni and the husband Fedez they bought a villa that had been for sale for some time on the Prosecco Docg hills, in the Conegliano area. “The house had been renovated a few years ago, but we were struggling to find buyers in the area – reports the local real estate agent who handled the negotiations -. The villa, due to its size, historical value and position, was a bargain and the Ferragnez, who had long since had their eyes on the area, which became part of the Unesco heritage, seized the opportunity. And they bought it: for them and for their relatives who want to spend some peaceful days in one of the most characteristic hills in the area”.
Marina DiGuardo, Chiara Ferragni’s mother, had spent a weekend in the Prosecco hills in January, and on that occasion – it emerged later – she had taken care of concluding the purchase contract for the historic villa on behalf of her daughter. In love with the Conegliano hills, the woman had defined them as “An enchanted place”, “So beautiful as to seem unreal”. So why, given the economic availability, not buy a property in that place that she fell in love with? In addition to the villa, the Ferrignezes bought the surrounding land, where rows of vineyards already stood. “Probably the intention of the entrepreneur is to produce a wine of his own, which will bear his brand, but she will report this herself”, continues the agent, who wishes to remain anonymous. Chiara Ferragni’s address has not been revealed to us, but the inhabitants of Conegliano know very well which is the villa that for some time, impressively, sported that “for sale” sign which has now disappeared. Chiara, Fedez, Leone and Vittoria – say i rumors – they will be in Conegliano for Easter. Not long now: today is April 1st.
