THE pistachios they are a trending food especially in recent years. All this raises the calorie content to approx 610 kCal for just 100g.

Pistachios also have a good fiber content which also helps to make us feel a good sense of satiety while also giving good health to our intestines. They contain few sugars, just 5 g for every 100 g of pistachios total while as regards the proteins, clearly of vegetal origin, they represent approximately 18% of the total weight of a single pistachio.

Regarding the matter vitamins pistachios are particularly rich in vitamin E, a very powerful antioxidant that is known for its anti-aging properties, but we also find vitamin C, very useful for modulating the immune systemand B vitamins such as niacin, riboflavin and thiamine which are useful for the metabolism of food and to ensure the well-being of skin, hair and nails.

What we don’t know about pistachios is that they are also an excellent source of mineral salts, essential for the proper functioning of the body as they are rich in calcium, potassium, phosphorus but also sodium, ironmagnesium, copper, zinc and finally selenium.

Now, to answer the question we were asked at the beginning of the article we can say that the right quantity of pistachios to take every day corresponds to only 30 grams, provided, however, that they are those at the natural and unsalted which are much more caloric.
