Lucrezia Lando she speaks openly about her desire to become a mother and the difficulties she encountered on the path to building a family with her partner Lorenzo Tanothe son of Rocco Siffredi known to Dancing with the Stars. He does so in an interview with the weekly Moreoverrecounting without rhetoric a theme that concerns more and more couples: the wait for a child that does not arrive and the conscious choice to turn, if necessary, to medicine. “We’ve been trying for a while now, there are difficulties and, if it doesn’t come naturallywe are ready to rely on science“, explains the dancer. “For us it is not a taboo to talk about it. Today, many couples discover any difficulties late, therefore we decided to undergo some checks.”
The relationship between Lucrezia Lando e Lorenzo Tano it was rapid and intense, as was the decision to try for a baby: “We waited a few months to get to know each other better… And we’ve been trying to become parents for a year and a half now.”tells. At the basis of this choice there is also the family history of both: “We grew up in very close-knit families, full of love, where the children arrived when the parents were still young. And so Lorenzo and I also started to love each other freely, leaving room for the possibility of pregnancy”. A project also shared by their respective families: “My parents can’t wait to become grandparents, like Lorenzo’s.” Lorenzo’s father’s doctor also advised them: “His father’s doctor, Rocco (Siffredi, ed.), told us: ‘Wait a year. Live everything calmly and, if it doesn’t happen, you will consider what to do’”.
After the wait, the controls arrived: “Six months ago we started with the analyses. At first I wanted to control myself… There is nothing that interferes with fertility. Then Lorenzo also did the tests. Since some values were wrong, we turned to a surgeon considered among the world’s leading fertility experts, Professor Fabrizio Cerusico, who works in Rome.”
The journey was not simple, but it was clarifying: “It reassured us, Lorenzo also underwent a small operation for further investigations. In short, the doctors explained to us that a baby could arrive naturally, even if it is not easy. Otherwise we will have to think of another way…”. That “other way” is assisted fertilization, which Lucrezia describes lucidly: “The path is that of assisted fertilization, but it is a complex path. I would first have to undergo hormone-based drug therapy, then undergo surgery for egg retrievalwhich would then be fertilized with Lorenzo’s seed and replanted…”.
Before tackling this step, however, there is an important personal condition for her: “I tell you the truth: before setting out on such a complex path, However, I would like to make our story official“. Translated: getting married. On this point, different sensitivities emerge in the couple: “He struggles to fully understand how much that moment in which a father accompanies his daughter to the altar means to me. Nevertheless, his parents have also been married for over thirty years…“. The final reflection is clear: “Just as I am ready to face a difficult path in order to become a mother, lhe should come to meet me, understand the importance I give to marriage”.
