The Roman singer, born in 1997, before embarking on her career in the world of music and becoming famous in the eyes of the general public, was a student. He obtained his high school diploma and then his degree, but what did he study? She herself told her story course of studyalso revealing what she was like as a child and during adolescence.
What qualifications does Ditonellapiaga have?
Ditonellapiaga, pseudonym of Margherita Carducci, is born in Rome on 5 February 1997. The young singer-songwriter, after middle school, attended Lyceum Terenzio Mamiani State University of the capital. Her passion for music and entertainment strengthened during high school and, once she obtained her high school diploma, she enrolled in the Dams (Disciplines of Arts, Music and Entertainment) with a theater focus, where she graduated.
The artist said, in an interview given to Rolling Stone Italia of 2024, as was his course of study: “In reality it was a mixed between Dams and acting academy. And when you take any theater course they teach you that you have to play and nothing is real. But it’s about playing seriously. As I do in songs, I play seriously. I’m always very careful about it, even though I’m having fun.”
He also explained that his love for music blossomed early, adding that he began cultivating it “in high school with the first bands and lots of jam sessions.” “I never studied music until recently, precisely because of this extemporaneous and improvised approach. But perhaps even when I enrolled at Dams I aimed to understand the art of performance a little better”, she underlined.
In 2026, he returns to the Ariston stage for the Sanremo Festival, competing together with 29 other Bigs. Among these we find Tommaso Paradiso, Chiello, Tredici Pietro, Malika Ayane, Raf, Elettra Lamborghini, Michele Bravi, J-Ax, Francesco Renga, Levante and Patty Pravo.
It is not the first time that Ditonellapiaga graces the stage of the most anticipated music event of the year: at the 72nd Sanremo Festival she competed together with Donatella Rettore with the song “Chimica”, while in 2025 she returned to the Ariston as guest of the covers evening together with Tiromancino and the competing rapper Willie Peyote. On that occasion, they performed the song “Un tempo piccolo” by Franco Califano.
Ditonellapiaga’s childhood memory
“I had quite a childhood felice. I was a very sunny child, I think I remained a child longer than other peers of mine”, said Ditonellapiaga in the interview with Rolling Stone Italiaremembering his childhood period leading up to that adolescent.
On this occasion she revealed that she was also in the scouts: “In middle school I felt the need to bring out the Barbies again. I was very ashamed, but I still wanted to play when the others were already grown ups. Maybe because I was in the scoutsan experience that kept me in touch with the little girl inside me,” concluded the Roman singer-songwriter.
