With the next edition of Big Brother VIP in the works, after the Falsissimo videos, Alfonso Signorini suspends himself from Mediaset

After the media outcry of the videos uploaded by Fabrizio Corona online, Alfonso Signorini has self-suspended from Mediaset. In fact, the host is about to start with a new edition of the Big Brother VIPwas accused by Corona of requesting sexual services in exchange for a place in the famous Canale 5 reality show.

The Alfonso Signorini case in Falsissimo and the investigations into revenge porn

Following the release of Fabrizio Corona’s videos, Alfonso Signorini immediately proceeded with the complaint and the Milan prosecutor’s office opened ainvestigation into Corona for revenge pornas he had disseminated images and sexually explicit content. The decision to self-suspend and Mediaset’s response

Signorini’s lawyers accused Corona of starting a “slanderous and defamatory campaign” against their client, with the aim of destroying his career.

For his part the company accepted the self-suspension of the director of Chi to protect himself, only to then add for “Mediaset reiterates that those who work for the company are required to comply with clear principles of correctnessresponsibility and transparency, as defined by the code of ethics, which is applied without exceptions. All investigations and checks are underway to ensure compliance”.
