Monica Sirianni, 37 years old, died in the late evening of Friday 5 May, in Soveria Mannelli, in the province of Catanzaro: she was in a bar and suffered an illness. Sirianni had participated as a competitor at the Big Brother 12. Local newspapers gave the news.

According to the local newspapers that first broke the news of her disappearance, the woman suffered a sudden illness: friends who were with her immediately raised the alarm and she was rushed to the hospital. For her, however, there was nothing to do: she died shortly after arriving in the emergency room. Investigations are underway into the causes of her death, to verify what caused her fatal illness. It is not excluded that the young Monica suffered a heart attack.

The edition of the GF that saw her among the participants was won by Sabrina Mbarek. Furthermore, Monica’s participation in Big Brother coincided with the beginning of her love story with Fabrizio Conti, a roommate known in the Cinecittà House. To pursue her passion, Sirianni decided to leave her boyfriend at the time, Diego Bevilacqua. Conti turned out to be so involved with Monica that he set aside his passion with Martina Pascutti, another known competitor in the House. An important bond was born between the two in the House, which however broke off after the end of the reality show. Monica had long since returned to her usual life, abandoning the small screen. Despite her parents abroad, she had chosen to stay and live in Italy.
