He who sows antipathy, reaps shitstorm. During the edition, ours stood out for his extreme competitiveness. In recent weeks, there has been talk of a possible removal of Carrara from ‘Bake Off Italia’, Real Time, by direct will of the presenter Benedetta Parodi who would have badly tolerated his attitude towards her husband Fabio Caressa and their Eleonora (Father and Daughter couple). The Pastry Chef had, in fact, cowardly eliminated them, after spending an entire day with the sports commentator. “All fake news”, replied Carrara, implying that he had not been fired at all. The antipathy remains, however: he lived the entire reality show as if it were a matter of life and death, without ever looking anyone in the face, not even his much-maligned younger brother, just to get to the top of every stage. He succeeded, he even won the program. But not the public’s sympathy. You can’t have everything, you have to get over it: it’s even possible that the splendid and always impeccable Damiano Carrara, as a character, is simply not liked.
