The woman gave an interview to the magazine More TV to whom he told the ordeal he experienced when his daughter was born: “The little girl was coughing loudly and at night, he looked like he was suffocating. They told me that she needed immediate surgery. My daughter had a mass in her chest that, over time, had become enormous and would soon suffocate her.”. Giulia was immediately hospitalized and operated on: Fariba recounted the ordeal she experienced in those days and the fears she and her husband had.

Giulia Salemi’s mother said that for weeks she dedicated herself only to her daughter. She spent days and days in the hospital: “I disconnected from the world to stay with her, I slept in a chair. I was in the midst of the most excruciating pain, in a ward full of children. cancer patients”. Only after the surgery did they give her the diagnosis and she was able to breathe a sigh of relief: “After an hour and a half I remember one of the surgeons came out and told me that at first glance the tumor could be considered benign. I burst into tears.”
Giulia subsequently underwent various checks, she was a physically weak and frail child and the main fear was that the tumor could return: “…she was weak, tiny and in pain. One of the risks was that that mass could return, fortunately it never happened again.”
Salemi is fine today, the mass has never reappeared and that bad moment has Giulia was left with a scar and smaller breasts of the other, imperceptible details that did not influence his professional future.
