In addition to the 2025-2026 title, the most popular venue will win a rounder. You can vote until February 15th
Now it gets really serious. In the vote count – updated to December 21st – the news relating to the partial ranking of the competition “The pizzeria of the year”organized by the Gazzetta di Mantova, are essentially three.
The race
“Annette” plants the flag at the summit once again confirming itself in first place against over 11 thousand preferences; behind him “The Pizza Corner”compared to the previous week’s count, despite remaining in second position, the distance from the top of the class is reduced to around a thousand votes; “Valentina” arrives on the podium like a smoking hurricanewhich goes from 44th to third place with more than 7 thousand yes votes compared to 9 a week earlier. The “Pizza del Corso” loses one place and drops from third to fourth position. “Marechiaro” however still remains firmly in fifth place. “Fate vobis” instead slips from fifth to eleventh place, even if in just a few days it manages to catalyze five hundred preferences on its banner.
An avalanche of votes
Another aspect not to be underestimated in the great race for the title is that, in a few days, the venues that have broken the threshold of a thousand votes have more than doubled, going from six to thirteen.
The regulation
Every day, with the newspaper, there is a 5 point card available to cut out: just fill it in with the name and address of your favorite pizzeria and add your details before delivering it to the newspaper’s headquarters, in Piazza Mozzarelli 7, or sending it by 15 February 2026. Watch out for special coupons. Those who follow the newspaper in the digital version can vote from the site. To best support the competing pizzerias, we have also thought of a digital voting kit, complete with posts and stories for social media, personalized stickers and flyers. Plated, sliced, take-away pizzerias and mixed restaurants in the province are eligible for the competition. The pizzeria with the most votes will receive a Ram Rounder 350–850 rounder from Polìn Group worth over 5 thousand euros.
Prizes for readers
Gazzetta readers will also be able to win a prize: two lucky participants who voted with the coupon will receive a 150 euro voucher, which can be spent in the indicated pizzeria, while two digital subscribers will win a 50 euro voucher. Draw on March 31, 2026.
