Volkswagen presented the new generation of Tiguan: Now rest on the platform MQB Evo and, in the variant hybrid Plug-Insit reaches up to 100 km Of autonomy in 100% electric mode.
The new generation of the German SUV grows slightly in size dimensions (4,551 mm long, 1,939 mm wide, 1,640 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,681 mm), with an increase in boot space of up to 648 litres.
As with other models Volkswagenthe Tiguan also follows the lines of the electric range ID and, with the new generation, new headlights arrive Led HD Matrix and a front that is inspired by the ID.4.
Inside the passenger compartmentthe German company declares it to be the driver that the front passenger have 9 mm of extra headroom while passengers rear will be able to benefit from 10 mm more.
The new generation brings a major update to the interiorwhere there is now a display for 12.9-inch infotainment (from 15 inches in the top of the range versions) and the Digital Cockpit 10.25″. Furthermore, the head-up display is available and, as anticipated a few weeks ago by the German company, in the console central there is a command multifunction equipped with a display Oled (can manage volume, traction modes, driving profiles and the new Atmosphere system).

eHybrid Phev of 204 and 272 HP: the 1.5 TSI combustion engine of 150 and 177 HP is combined with the 115 HP and 330 Nm electric motor integrated in the gearbox. The new drums it has a capacity of 19.7 kWh and, for charging, in AC it accepts up to 11 kW (2 hours for a full charge) and in DC it accepts up to 50 kW of power (10-80% in 25 minutes). The autonomy in electric mode reaches 100 km, while the total autonomy, also considering a full tank of petrol, reaches 1,000km.
Diesel:
All the engines are combined with you change automatic DSg (available in six-speed versions on the Phev and seven on all the others) and, thanks to the new platform Mqb Evo which allowed the adoption of the adaptive chassis DCC Prowith the new Tiguan it is possible to adjust the shock absorbers based on the route and driving style.
