The major indices of the Italian Stock Exchange and the main European financial markets should start the day with minimal changes.
I major US stock indices have recorded fractional gains in the first session of the week. The Dow Jones has risen by 0.13% to 39,170 points, while the S&P500 has gained 0.27% to 5,475 points. The Nasdaq has also gained (+0.83% to 17,879 points).
The Tokyo Stock Exchange closed the session higher. The Nikkei index rose 1.12% to 40,075 points, after fluctuating between a low of 39,458 points and a high of 40,113 points.

Telecom Italia TIM could record significant changes at the start of the day. The telephone company announced that it has completed the sale of NetCo to Kohlberg Kravis Roberts. The transaction will be implemented through the transfer to FiberCop (a company 58% controlled by Telecom Italia TIM) of the telephone company’s business unit that includes the fixed network infrastructure and wholesale activities, and the subsequent acquisition of the entire capital of FiberCop by Optics BidCo, a company controlled by KKR. The sale of NetCo is valued at up to 22 billion euros.
Also in the spotlight Stellantis. The Ministry of Transport reported that in June 2024, 160,0461 cars were registered in Italy, up 15% compared to 139,150 in the same period last year. Stellantis sales also increased sharply. In June 2024, the group’s registrations amounted to over 48 thousand units, up 11.4% compared to the over 43 thousand cars sold in June 2023. As a result, Stellantis’ market share stood at 30.04%.
In the STAR segment focus on SYS-DATon the day of its debut at Piazza Affari. The shares were placed at a price of 3.4 euros, for an initial capitalization of approximately 103 million euros.
