The Civil Protection donates books to the libraries of Barzanò, Casatenovo, Missaglia and Monticello

On the occasion of ”World Book Day” which took place last April 23rd Civil Protection Volunteer Corps of Brianzain order to spread the culture of Civil Protection, wanted to donate to each of the libraries of the participating municipalities Barzanò, Casatenovo, Missaglia And Monticello four books on the topic of PC aimed at various age groups.

These are: ”The moon on the wings” by Giuseppe Zamberletti, ”Italians with boots” by Erasmo D’Angelis, ”Good morning firefighter” by Michael Escoffier and Mathieu Maudet, ”The firemen” by Geraldine Cosneau.

The secretary of the association, Marco Pellegrinihighlights the importance of the donation carried out, as mentioned, on the occasion of World Book Day.

An anniversary established by UNESCO with the aim of promoting the reading and publication of books which are fundamental for making readers of all ages aware of the Civil Protection and its components, such as the Fire Brigade to whom they are dedicated two of the books, intended for younger children.

Very interesting is ”The moon on the wings” written by Giuseppe Zamberletti, founding father of the modern Civil Protection and several times guest of the Casasi volunteers.

”Italians in boots” is a book that pays homage to the men and women who make up the PC machine and teaches, thanks to a real self-defense manual, what behaviors to adopt in moments of greatest danger, reminding us of the irreplaceable value of prevention.

In the next few days, after having been catalogued, the volumes will be available to users both in the theater and for loan.
