Andrea Monda’s new book was presented on Friday 17 March. The author, reads the website of the Maxxi Museum where the presentation was held, continues his fictional story of New York, the city where everything happens, the beating heart of the American dream.
In this chapter, the “capital of the world” is told from the unexpected angle of a killer on the conquest of money, fame and authority until he meets a woman capable of insinuating doubt into her ruthless criminal dimension.
“The number is nothing” is a novel in which the atmosphere and fast pace of hard-boiled blend with a rigorous historical reconstruction of New York in the thirties, along with an acute and painful psychological portrait of the protagonists.
The new president of Maxxi introduced the evening, followed by Antonio Funiciello, Antonio Spadaro, and the author of the book.
Umberto Pizzi was present for Formcihe.net. Here are all the photos.
